Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hello everybodey, I couldn`t find a solution in the archive.

I want to connect a masterkeyboard to the DTXpress module.
How can I choose for example "Strings" which I want to play with the 
keyboard (using the DTXp as an tone generator)?

You must edit a song. Then chose a midi channel and a midi instrument, plug
your keyboard, the keyboard must send midi notes through the same channel
you have just chosen. Now just play!

Thank you for the quick answer, but maybe I am to stupid to do it, I 
can not get it !!!
