controlling QY70 drumkit sounds on a dtxpress II?

2007-03-29 by derf.florin

Hi,

I just wanted to know if it is possible to assign each pads and
cymbals of my dtxpress II with a QY 70 drumkit. THe snare on the QY 70
ar very impressive and so are the toms and crsh cymbals. Is it
possible to do that?

thanks for the answers to a newbie.

I assume the QY-70 is the sequencer with built-in drum sounds you want
to use. You could connect the module to the QY-70 with midi cables and
then the DTXpress II could be used to trigger the sounds on the QY-70.
Someone here with more midi experience will need to help you with the
details. You can't load any new sounds onto the DTXpress modules.
