Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I've been away for a bit, mostly getting reading for the 
coming holiday, and of course playing on my new DTXpress. 

First off, I've been really happy with the purchase. With a 
nice pair for headphones, the electornic drum sounds are quit
convincing to my ear. It's been a long long time since I was
last able to just play all out without fear of waking up the
neighbors! 

I've got some questions, so I think I'll divide them up with their 
own posts.
