Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

I know this has probably been mentioned on here before but can anyone 
provide me with some schematics and instructions to build a dual 
trigger switch to replace my TP80S.  I am looking at making a DIY mesh 
head snare.

I am an electronics novice so I'll need some foolproof instructions.

I am not sure if it is what you are looking for, but in the files
section there is a circuit called "DTXpander cheap" which will allow
you to convert two piezo signals into a piezo plus rim switch signal.
 If you are building your own snare, you might want to look at the
DIY-edrums Yahoo group as well
