loading a song (midi) in dtxpress 3 module

Mach,

The only way I have found is to play the midi song on my computer and
simultaneously record it on the module. Someone else may have a
better way - I know next to nothing about midi.

Keith.

Hi Keith,
Thanks so much for your reply. I cant remember if I did it this way last time though, but i realized that the song i put in my module last time, i can mute the drums. When i tried to record recently, i cant mute the drums. Both songs are in midi format.

Mach,

In order to be able to mute the drums, the midi file should have the drums on the correct midi channel (that might be the wrong terminology). I have had to modify midi files or mute some extra 'drum' sounds when I recorded it into the DTXpress in order to be able to mute the drums properly.

Keith.
