Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi there, I have a pad that triggers a song wich has only a brightness 
control mididata recorded on it, on Channel 10.

I had this working so I could hit the pad and all the drumsounds were 
filtered. But I losted the settings and Im trying again to make it work.

But now I have the strange situation that the padsong plays the song 
but the effect isnt heard, but when i push the playbutton, and the song 
plays that way, the effect will heard on the drums I play.

I dont know what this implies, does it make sense to someone, maybe Ive 
messedup some midisettings.

Hi Santana

Try in the first instance switching on MIDI Channel 6 in Voice Edit 
Mode (the manual states to subtract 4 from the MIDI channel to 
transmit in Pad Song), although you may have to check the MIDI note 
number and change this too as it defaults to #1 (piano).

Hi Tony thanks for your time, I followed your steps but it didnt solve it. I think I didnt discripted it well, because the song will play( I checked it by

I solved it by using the start en stop function on the pad instead of 
the padsong function, now the midi effects are aplied to the 
drumsounds, strange but true.
