Red knob

Hey guys and dolls, I'm planning on upgrading my dtxpress 2 module to a dtxpress 4. I know i'll lose the midi in, but I played the 4 and I think the sounds are way better. I have two questions about the dtxpress 4. Does the red knob on a tp100/120 do anything? Is the mounting of the module on the rack the same as the dtxpress 2 module? thanks in advance, Tom
