To Apologize And Clear Things Up....

To Apologize And Clear Things Up....

2008-04-20 by affordablemusicalendeavors

Keith, the most important thing is that you get this message. Since
the topic regarding this has been removed from the forum (as it should
have been) I assume that this message will not make it to the forum.
It is obviously your perrogative to delete it.

My name is Adam Fancher, I am the founder of Affordable Musical
Endeavors. I am just starting up my business, I am not a gigantic
company. It was just me...until I decided to take on my first
"employee"....a kid I offered 10 bucks to spread the word around about
the availability of the product I am trying to market

The way he chose to accomplish this is appalling and I am furious with
his actions. He was NOT instructed to lie to people! He came in
here, saw that the rules clearly stated that no commercial
advertisements were allowed. So not only did he violate that, he also
got around it by lying and pretending to be an average joe.

Obviously this stupid kid got his foot stuck in a rabbit trap when he
turned around and posted in another yahoo group pretending to be me.
Then on top of that, when it became obvious he became caught, he
played dumb in both of the groups, and finished off ruining my
reputation by mouthing off to keith. two minutes later he realized
that he screwed up, panicked, and came running to me. I couldn't get
him to tell me exactly what he said to keith, except that it "wasn't
very nice".

So on behalf of what this little (insert expletive) has done, I just
want to apologize. I will continue to do ALL the legwork until I'm
well established enough to find employees that won't alienate
potential customers. An advertisement, in any form, for my product
had no place in this group.

Despite the fact that I had no control over this kid's actions, my
reputation which doesn't even exist yet has already taken a battering.
Nonetheless, I apologize for the damage that he has caused. Needless
to say I told him not to contact me again.

Adam,

Apology accepted.

Just so you know, I am happy to offer advice and help on edrums of any
sort. I design electronics for a living and have designed add-ons to
the DTXpress. I am happy to offer help or advice if I can but it
would probably be best off group.

I have received some abusive emails from your ex-employee.

Anyway, it's really a friendly place round here and I intend to keep
it so.

Good luck with your product and if you want to contact me off the
group I will be happy to discuss it.

Keith.

It's very good of you to post an apology. Here's to a less hectic and
embarassing year ahead for your project. :-)

Keith is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable so you can't go wrong
there. Good luck and keep us posted!

Regards,
Cat Lake
