Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi I just purchased used kit DTX III special, the hi hat RHH130 is not sounding open. It just makes the same closed sound when hit, even if you press on the pedal. No change if pedal is up or down. I performed a factory re-set did not do anything!
Please help!!

Check the trigger settings.  By default I think they don't they are set to RHH. See page 12 of the "Reference Guide".
