There is also a photo in the photo album section of this group, Under
"Inside the Dtxpress/DTXPUII". The module shown is a Dtxpress II, but
would be similar for the Dtxpress I. OGD

Thanks,when I see warning message for low battery how much time I can keep playing drums without changing battery?

I don't know, but I doubt you have to rush.  If it has taken 10 years to get the warning then I am sure another week or two won't matter.  As it is, replacing the battery will lose all your settings anyway although I have seen people replace it with the power on (not recommended).  You could keep the module powered up when you get the warning - the battery is only used when the power is off.  I suggest you back up your kits.

Sorry for the delay in replying.  It is so long since I backed mine up I am not sure what I used - I think it was dEXTd which you can download here from the files section http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/DTXpress/files/

You need a MIDI interface.  I have one of the cheap USB-MIDI ebay ones and it works fine.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
