pcy80s choke problem

pcy80s choke problem

This dual zone cymbal was working great. Now I cannot choke it anymore. It just rings, is there a procedure to rectify this? Thank you in advance!! John

Rings meaning just a standard crash sound?

The contact element in the choke could be toast.

I had the same problem.  Check to be sure the pad is set to the proper type (pcy vs. xp).  It's at the individual drum kit level.

On the Yamaha modules the pad type is set in the TRIGGER menu. It then applies to all drum kits. It is not set at the individual drum kit level.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
