OK, we'll see what we can do. AFAIK, there is no way to set the
crossfade velocity range in the specific way you want on the
DTXpress. I have looked briefly at the SoundDiver adaptation for the
DTX V2 (so, yes, it is supported), but it doesn't seem to show any
way to do this on the DTX v2 either. There may be a way on the unit
itself, but I don't have one (my dealer had the DTXpress in stock,
curses!). The Xpress does allow you to set one of several types of
crossfade, essentially changing the velocity crossover point, but you
can't freely choose the exact point yourself.
As for SoundDiver, its excellent (I have just done the beta of the
DTXpress adaptation and posted it to the files section if anyone
wants to give me a bug report - no comments on the appearance!). But
if the only MIDI gear you have is the DTX, SD is probably not worth
it - it comes into its own as you add more gear, however, so if you
plan an upgrade, think about SD.
cheers
