Re: Digest Number 41

Re: Digest Number 41

I was having some bass double trigger problems so I increased self rejection:this caused missing beats.I think the rigidity of the metal bass stand causes harsh vibrations (enough to trigger and possibly damage itself I think) so I did a couple things and the problem seems to be gone. First I put mouse pad (actually they are acoustic drum silencer material)and a thin bath mat under the entire bass and pedal unit then i slapped a thin piece of mouse pad stuff to the actual rubber trigger blob. Also I decreased self rej. This reduces vibration and solved my double trig woes. Also the kick feels more lifelike (less like hitting a piece of granite) and my nieghbors don't call the cops at night anymore.
