Software Update on DTXPress Module?

Software Update on DTXPress Module?

2002-03-29 by panicpete_de

Now it has happened! I ordered a DTXPress last week at my local
store.
I read a lot of messages in this group, it's the best manual, that you
can think about. :o) Your group helped me a lot with my desicion to
buy a DTX and not any other edrum-set.
But now i heard something new:
Yesterday i phoned with the man in the store an he told me, that the
DTXPress has not arrived yet. He spoke to a lady at Yamaha and she
told him, that the software in the module gets updated right now and
for this reason the delivery will be delayed a few days!
Has anybody of you heard about this update? I didn't read about this
on Yamahas website. What can be improved with an update?

Now finally many thanx to you for sharing the experiences you made
with the DTXPress. I can't wait playing the first grooves on my
DTXPress! :o)

Pete

P.S. I'm from Germany (please excuse my english), are there any other
guys from Germany in this group?

great to hear your hooking up with the dtx kit...i'm not sure about
the software upgrading that you mentioned about the module,i haven't
heard anything about this either, but if anything it should be
interesting to see what new features it may give the dtx system...
(not like there isn't enough to keep you interested for a long time
now!!) this group has been a great source of info. for me and many
others as well.. be sure to bookmark it ,so you can continue to gain
some great info. from the other users of the dtx drum system that are
on this group, and be sure to check out the archives of messages on
here for a slew of posts on almost any topic for this e-drum set that
you could really think of,and then some..

once congrats on getting the dtx kit,get ready for a ton of fun with
it!!!!!!
