The DTXPU module

The DTXPU module

2002-04-17 by silicon39

I am contemplating the DTXpress kit and was wondering if the module
uses multi-velocity sampling for more realistic playback?

I tried the kit last night and it responded only with a single sample
per strike, no matter how hard or soft you hit the pads. Obviously
the volume changes, but I'm looking for a change in sound due to
multi-velocity sampling, like the Roland kits have.

I've always preferred Yamaha over Roland and so this is why I am
looking at the DTXpress rather than the V-Club.

I'll probably still get the DTXpress even if it is not multi-
velocity :-)

Thanks for any help
Ian

You can layer/velocity fade two sounds on the DTXpress.
