Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

Can somebody tell me what the Gate Time parameter is (in practical 
terms) please? I've read the manual but didn't understand. Note that 
I'm using DTXV2.

Hi Okan,

In practical terms it would be sustain (i.e. how long a key is held).
 I think it is more relevant if you're firing off a keyboard patch
from the DTX than when you're using the pads for drum sounds, but
maybe some experimentation would prove that one way of the other...
