User kit downloads.

User kit downloads.

2002-07-09 by James Sharp

Is it just me, or is the link broken to the user kits?
Giles, any ideas? I'd like to send some more good stuff in.

Jim.

It is definately registering the hit, (I basically went into the voice edit
function and hit other pads and watched it change, and sure enough I hit
tom2 and it swithed as well and showed that it registered the hit, even gave
me a velocity reading but no sound) basically I think I somehow globally
turned off all the bass drums, because I noticed the problem affected only
the kick sounds. I wrote down all my settings for each pad, and then I reset
the entire unit back to it's factory settings and remapped my kits.
Painstaking process but it worked and did it just in time to make the show..

What happens when you change the voice or note number on tom2? Can
you tell if it's registering the hit but not producing a sound, or
it's simply not registering the hit?

That's weird. Hope it never happens again...

Hey Jim,

I just tried it quick (I assume you're talking about the User Kits
folder in the files section of the group)- and I was able to download
the first one (Bigkit?) to my PC, and I got to the point where it
seemed like it was ready to upload it back again when I stoped it.

Re: User kit downloads.

2002-07-11 by jimbosharp72

Hi Walt,
Yeah, I used that one a few days back. I was actually referring to
the one off the home page, the "downloads" link off the orange module
logo. Oh well, just hope that people still look at the files I guess.
Cheers anyway,

Jim

Re: [DTXpress] Re: User kit downloads.

2002-07-19 by Giles Hearn

Walt / Jim

Sorry for the late reply - I've been overseas.

There does seem to be a problem with the downloads.
The files are there but Freeserve is not letting me
download them. I'll try and sort it out this w/e.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Giles
