DTEXPRESS II opinions please !

DTEXPRESS II opinions please !

2002-08-25 by edke2

CLose to buying this set at musiciansbay.com for $ 889. Any advice
or recommendations on this or other sets in this price range would
be greatly appreciated as I am fairly GREEN when it comes to edrums !
Also, how does the Express II brain stack up against the DTX2.0 ?
                               Thanks for all responses,
                                                          Ed

Hi Ed,

I have both a DTX V2 and an original DTXpress, and
there's no doubt that the V2 kit is better than the
original DTXpress - in the features available. The
sounds are about the same though.

I don't know a lot about the changes in the DTXpress
II - other than the hardware changes they made with
the pads and rack.

If I had to choose, and both were within my budget, I
would go for the DTXpress II for a starter kit, then
maybe grow into a more powerful kit over time.
