Thrones...

Thrones...

2002-10-12 by Jim Tonak

I got a new throne today to replace the one my butt hated so much.

After trying the Rock-N-Soc, the Tama Ergo-Rider and Wide-Rider, and
the Gibraltar bicycle saddle type thrones, I settled on the Pork Pie
Big Boy Throne.

The Pork Pie has the thickest padding, hands down of any of these.
It's real evident when you look at it. The point of the saddle isn't
raised as it is on some of the Tama and Gibraltar thrones. I liken it
to sitting in a Lazy-Boy. The base of the stand is very sturdy--and
heavy. I see no problem in attaching a backrest to it if that's your
preference. The Gibraltar and Tama backrests should bolt right to the
seat bottom.

But the best thing about the Pork Pie's are the colors. The silver
sparkle/zebra stripes go nicely with the subdued look of my DTXpress
kit :)
