Thanks guys, if it wasn't for you guys I'd still be stuck on page one
of the manual :-) I conected my Samson headphone amp to the DTX2.
Actually what you do is go out of the headphone jack with a stereo
quarter inch and then split it to two mono's and then plug it into
the inputs(left & right) on the back of the headphone amp. Then you
can plug up to five headphones into the amp each with their own
volume control and extra amplification. That will surely take care of
any headphone problems one might have. The headphone amp is
relatively cheap. I realized I can play any song with any kit I want
preset or user, can also change a preset but you can't save the
changes unless you make a copy of it which is fine by me. Also just
made a killer Maple kit. Amazing how much it sounds like the real
thing. Had a little trouble with the hi hat(or as they say in New
Orleans, Sock Cymbol :-) What does openR and closedR mean? Any way
want to share these kits with everyone so if anyone has a pretty
simple explanation on how, I'd like to here it.
                Thanks Again

I, for one, have no idea what some of Yamaha's proprietary voice
names mean. As for what to do with your stored kits, visit the site
DTXpressions, created by one of this group's earliest members. Go to
http://www.thehearns.fsnet.co.uk/dtxpressions/, bookmark it (it has
great tips), and then go to the "Download" section to download, and
learn about, DTXchange.
