Hi Adam. I'm not a drummer. But I purchased the DTXPRESS for my band
and recording purposes. I am very impressed with the flexibility of
it. Our band has played out live wiht a Roland V-Club with a TD6
module and I think the DTXPRESS is right up there with it in terms of
sound...if not better in a few areas because of the versatility. I
just posted a recording of my DTXPRESS done recently on my website.
Give it a listen if you'd like to hear the kit recorded. The song
title is "Like The Rain" and you can download it on our bands
homepage at: http://oneaccord.homestead.com Hope this helps.

Blessed,

Gary
