Gain, Min Vel, and Crossfade question

Gain, Min Vel, and Crossfade question

2003-03-05 by underneathheaven

I want to make it harder for the crash sound to be produced while I
play my ride cymbal and I'm not sure which of these settings to mess
with. Sometimes when I play my ride cymbal extra hard I'll get a
crash sound due to be vibration towards the edge. Or if I hit the
ride at the very top section, close to the bell, I'll get the crash
sound as easy as hitting the edge. Thanks for the help!!!

Hey folks!
Thanks for the replies. Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond,
but I've been out of town the last few days (Vancouver, B.C.,
beautiful!!!).
I'm really only in need a one more input. The DTX would be perfect if
there were just one more trigger. I think I would prefer to go the
additional DTX module route. I do run through a mixer, so it would be
no problem blending the two.
Thanks,
Stephen
