Walt
Thanks for the encouragement. I am still waiting to
hear about his blood work...he is eating and keeping
it down. The specialist said he could recover, but he
has found once the gallbladder looks like a "kiwi"
they do not respond to antibiotics...my dog is sorta
boarderline kiwi...that's why the lab work was so
important-my own vet has seen just a "few" dogs have
the same thing as mine, and recover...my concern is
the liver cyst, even though the specialist wasn't
overly concerned-he said it is common in dogs, but it
hangs off one of the lobes of the liver, and therefore
it needs to be watched for changes-hence another
re-check of the ultrasound. I've got as many
Christian friends praying-God can do miracles. It is
so hard to let someone or something you love go.
I will update you when I hear.

Jade,

My heart goes out to you as well... I just had to put my own beloved
dog to sleep this past weekend. It was the hardest thing I've had to
do in my life:
http://www.canoe.ca/Columnists/burnett.html

May you and your family (including your dog) find peace in this
difficult time,
Vince

Thank you so very much Vince....I find it truly
amazing the kindness, compassion and concern the guys
in this group have for one another. My heart goes out
to you because I know the love you have for your dog.
Mine is my kid...he has been with me thru thick and
thin, and believe me, I have been thru some rough
times-he was there to offer his unconditional love,
and he understands all the emotions I have
felt...wonderful creatures of God! My best to you,
and thank you so much for your kindness.
