There is a master volume level in one of the menus (don't have manual to hand so can't specify).

By default I think it's set to 100. Increase this to 127 and you should get more output level.
There are also individual levels on each pad, which are not set to maximum by default.
And don't forget the front panel snare and kick volume controls.

I use the output jacks on the rear panel straight to my Spirit mixer - channels set to unity gain, and the DTXpress levels match all my other midi devices, with the DXT master volumes set at max. The DTX should work fine into a CD/Tuner/Aux input of any hifi stereo amp.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
