Which Iron Cobra beater would work best on rubber pad?

Which Iron Cobra beater would work best on rubber pad?

2003-04-30 by underneathheaven

Right now I'm using a felt material on my Iron Cobra beater, but
Tama sells different beaters with different materials on the head.
They have a rubber head and a wood head. Would the rubber head work
better on the rubber kick pad? I think I'm looking for something
that would give me a little more bounce I guess. Thank you!

Try the Pearl Quad Beater. Gives you four different shapes, two
materials (felt and rubber). I use it on my IC.

I've used both the wood and rubber. When I used the rubber, it was
much more quiet but, after playing for some time the rubber on
rubber contact eventually made the beater head want to stick to the
rubber pad. After that I started using the wood. It's louder, but I
don't have truoubles with is sticking. :)
