JP, *most* hh systems use a stereo 1/4" cable. Usually, what happens is some manufactuers will send the signal up the tip while the dtxpress sends it through the sleeve. You can *probably* have someone check the polarity difference between your pedal and the polarity required by the dtxpress. Here's a schematic of the stock dtxpress pedal. http://www.rainfall.com/dtxpress/pedal.html The rest should be about $10 in Radio Shack parts to build an external box to change the polarity, or you can re-wire your pintech. It could be as simple as cross wiring the tip and sleeve in your hh cable.
