1. Press the Play button
2. Hold down Shift and Press the PageUp button (MUTE
is written along the top of this button)
3. You'll see that a white D in a black box either
comes on or goes off on the display. It's the last
character of the Song name.

If it's on - drum mute is applied and you won't hear
your song. If it's off - you should hear your masterpiece.

See I knew it was a silly question. Now that you say it I remember turning that off to play along with the cheesey pre-recorded digi music.
