DTXPress Woes

DTXPress Woes

2000-11-15 by Boehmer, Scott A. (PSI Net)

Hello fellow DTXPress players,

I have had my kit now for several months and though I enjoy what I can do I was wondering if any of you have found a solution to this little problem I am having?

When trying to do "flams" on the snare or tom pads I only seem to get a single beat back. Is there a sensitivity setting on the pads or in the voice menus to tweak up the response a bit? I have changed the reverb and decay settings and that does not seem to affect the pad voice sensitivity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have gleaned a lot from recent posts and am working towards some MIDI sampling.

Scott

I believe that is in the trigger menu. Each pad has a "self reject" setting. If you set it too low , however, you'll get double triggers when you don't want 'em.

Lower the 'self rejection' setting,
maybe the 'rejection' setting also.
