Hi there,
I'll be no help but...I use Cubase VST 32/5.1 as well. I've only
just started experimenting with midi using my keyboard and my
DTXpress I kit, so I don't know squat really.
The very 1st time I had a similar problem with just my kick not
getting recorded w/midi. But I tried it again recenly & it works
now...Why?...Dunno what I did right?
Anyway, I did notice that when I opened the midi drum editor in
Cubase The kick & Snare were recorded & listed it's midi recorded
notes way on the bottom of the editor list. All else was high on the
list. I don't think the names matched completely either! I read in
Cubase something about midi maps for certain equiptment. I don't
know if they have a drum map for the DTXpress? But the manual say's
that one can be created. I'm working on that as of late!...If you
have any info on these maps, please let ME know. I'm also trying to
figure out how I can relable the drum list's
instruments,,,ie; "Snare" "Kick" "Toms" etc...
