Hey folks!
Merry Christmas!

Last week I posted about a problem I had after moving my DTXII to perform at a church function. The snare and Hi-Hat would not play at the same time. Toms 2&3 also had the same problem. I didn't get a chance to play with the rejection settings (as yall suggested) but I did manage to get through the performance by adjusting my playing style. I moved the set back home and and everything works fine. I find this puzzling.

Questions- I was playing on a wood platform at church verses a carpeted concrete floor at home. Could this make a difference?
Could line voltage variability cause a problem?

I would be surprised if line voltage changes would alter the triggering characteristics of your set. It might be good to remember that sound travels much more efficiently through solids than through air. What has likely happened is that the wood stage is coupling acoustically to the other instruments and a fair amount of vibration is exciting your rack and by extension your pads. This can cause a fair amount of trigger misery. At the very least you want your drums on carpet and try not to have them right on top of the other musicians' amps. You will want to schedule some tweak time with the other players to re-set your triggers. I found this was invaluable.

I use one of those carpets with the rubber bottom that they use in 
commercial buildings. Great for wooden stages. I also mark it with 
tape so I could build my kit quicker.
