{YAMAHA DTXpress Modules}

 Inputs 9/10 {Adapters HOSA or RADIOSHACK}

 STEREO TO MONO Adapters that work for Pad input 9/10 to share 2 mono 
pads so You can add 2 more triggers to your Yamaha DTX..

I figured this would answer a lot of Questions in the future since 
it's something we all run into.

 Hosa makes these adapters which is what I use, and works great. 
{Very cheap to}  

 {1}  STP-201 Send & Return Cable 1M (3.3 ft) ¼" TRS Splitter Y 
cable. Single stereo male to 2 mono males ¼".

>Takes The Left and Right sides of 9/10, and makes them 2 separate 
channels for 2 separate pads.     Example:  Tom 1  & Tom 2 indepently 
using mono patch cables.

 {2}  GPP-105 Coupler ¼" (F) to same. These are just female to
female 
adapters.

 I also bought 2   CSS-110  ¼" Stereo patch cables, handy for the
2 
dual zone chokable cymbals I just got. Or any stereo or dual zone 
trigger. There all made by HOSA, I got them through Musicains friend. 
Shipped all this stuff was only about $16.89.

 Heres the RadioShack Alternative, Basically the same stuff, but not 
as flexible and tends to create a breakable nightmare situation 
because all the parts are molded and not flexible. But in a pinch, it 
will work until you can get the HOSA ones.

and

 {2}  274-909 Gold Series – Mono to Mono Shielded Audio Adapters.

 They run about the same as far as cost.
