Hits not registering (no sound)

Hits not registering (no sound)

2004-03-20 by Ken

When I hit the snare pad with a very quick, short roll some of the hits don't produce sound. Also when I hit it only twice (LR) very close together the second hit doesn't produce sound. Depends how close together the hits are. Anyone have any thoughts as to what adjustments to try? Kit is a DTXpress.

Ken,

Check the self-rejection number for the snare input in trigger mode.
If it's above 6, try lowering it. You could also lower the
min.velocity and/or raise the gain (not to be confused with raising
cain). A little back and forth tweaking may be in order.

Thanks for the quick response. I will try that and report back if I have success.
