Fruity Loops(flstudio) and DTXpress III

Hello, I am fairly new to this particular drumset and was curious if there was anyway to record the dtx with other drum sounds I have in different file formats. I know you can only play one sound with the different pads, but I was wondering if there was a way to make each pad a different sound. I have the drumset connected with the M-audio usb 1x1.
