PCY130S and PCY150S finally available

PCY130S and PCY150S finally available

2004-06-04 by wb7ubd

Folks,

For those of you that have been waiting since January for the
availability of ala carte PCY130S and PCY150S cymbals, they're
finally here. (We did get exactly one RHH130 in too, but it went
right back out to somebody who pre-ordered; we expect more in at the
end of the month.)

We also got a generous supply of PCY65, PCY65S and HH65's as well.
We ordered many of these months ago as well and won't get any more
for some time.

Soooo, not to sound too much like an advertisement, but now is the
time to get these ala carte items if you have wanted them because
they tend to go fast and be far and few between. (We're still
waiting for more KP65's too.)

Cheers,

Ed

Ed,

Thanks.

How many of the PCY150S and PCY130S did you get in stock in your first
shipment?
Do these come with the stabilizer bar, since it is different than the one
that came with the PCY65S/PCY80S cymbal pads.

We received quite a few relatively speaking. I don't want to sound
like a "commercial solicitation" though. ;-) Whether we sell 2 or
20 cymbal pads as a result of posting doesn't really affect our
monthly revenue much -- my main concern was availability and
ensuring that folks in the group got first crack at them.

I believe they include the stabilizer, but would have to crack a box
open to verify. Maybe somebody that's already purchased one knows
for sure (we try to avoid opening factory-sealed boxes unless we
absolutely have to).

Hello Ed,

Would the PCY130S work with the Roland TD-20?

Jeffrey

For the record, there is what my old English teacher would have
termed a "nice distinction" between an acknowledged e-drum expert
and vendor, known for his helpfulness to folks whether they buy from
him or not, responding to direct questions, and someone who only
appears to post an ad.

I was told by Thomann that Yamaha wouldn't be shipping these cymbals until
the end of June.
Imagine my surprise when I received a package earlier in the week.

I've both PCY130S, and PCY150S - I have to say I'm impressed, especially
with the 150S, they have a nice swing when hit, personally I think they are
better than the Pintech Zmbol ZB1's I have.

BTW - they do come with devices to stop them rotating on the stands, and
also include a decent length of cable fitted with stereo jacks.
There's a gain adjustment control, I think I'll have to 'tweak' the 130S, it
seems quite hot at the moment.

Believe me, they are massively better than the 'wedges' I think Yamaha will
be selling quite a few of these.
