Triggers & Rhythm Traveler

I am looking to start using acoustic drum triggers with my DTXpress brain and am wondering if anyone has experience/success with this. Any personal preferences or things to avoid? Also, I am considering picking up the Pearl Rhythm Traveler drumset & using triggers on that, too. Has anyone tried this or heard anything about this? Thanks for the help! Rob
