Major problem with my DTX!HEEEEEEELP!!!!

Ok guys!Here is tre problem!I CANT CONNECT MY DTX (version 1)with my Cubase(SX).I tried everything .I have the cables i connected my sound card and my midi keybord(Yamaha MK 61)and all i hear in my channel is a continious beep. Maybe i do something wrong but i read the manual and i did everythin it said.I even call one friend of mine which have DTX 3 but he didnt know what to do. So...the pad comes to my cubase channel but therew is no drum sound when i hit it.There is only a beep. If someone have read the manual of the DTX 1,if someone has connected the DTX in Cubase etc please give a solution. Thanks in advance. ONCE A DRUMMER,ALWAYS LOCO.
