Hello, I have the iDW-8000 app for my iPad (running it on the original iPad). It works nicely! You need Line 6 Midi Mobilizer II or iRig Midi (both are iDevice midi interfaces - I use the iRig). The same company also has a MIDI program changer app, which works with Roland, Korg, Yamaha, Oberheim, etc (0-127, 1-128, etc).
