Sorry That I have little to contribute on this subject... my DW8K is 
out of commission for the moment. Not sure what's wrong, I plug it 
in and ... no power (I already tried replacing the ac adapter). It's 
just that I had written this forum off as of late. It's nice to see 
some activity in here after the 20-30 x-porn messages we get a 
month. 

Anyone ever have a DW8000 that just stopped working? I've owned mine 
for about 8 months used (of course) and after 3-4 hours of use it 
just died. I haven't opened it up yet, but I plan to. Anyone with a 
repair manual or experience out there?
