Poly 2 is supposed to be selected for patches that use polyphonic portamento, glissando, glide or whatever its called in manual. I don't remember exactly what its supposed to do for these patches but I think it keeps track of the order of the notes in a chord and keeps them in order as they glide together when a new chord is played. I never found that it made a whole lot of difference and this feature was actually circumvented and used for something else in the Angel City Turbo upgrade. I'll try to look it up and post more info later if anyone is interested. David
