Took me 4 hours of hard work to create my first useable DSS1 disk. In the end, I followed most of the tips on Glen's website on a Windows 98 machine. No way of getting it to work under Windows XP, and I didn't bother trying under Windows 2000. The only way I've found of getting HD floppies to work with DD disk drives is via CopyQM and Windows 98 or earlier. Which implies having an old PC somewhere in reserve. The same methodology works for the Roland MV-30 (I have one of them as well) - You might get a bit further under XP is you research similar issues with other bits of kit that use DD floppies. Windows 98 or earlier is the only thing I could get to work though. On 4/1/06, eraser127nl <eraser127@...> wrote: > Hi, I recently bought an second hand DSS-1.
