I am developing just such a box and it is being prototyped at the moment. It will emulate a Roland pg-200, 300 & 800 and will work on other synths such as the DW-6000 & 8000. So far the supported list is Roland JX-3P, JX-8P, JX-10, MKS-70, Juno 1&2, Korg DW-6000, DW-8000, M1. Other nice features are midi control of early Rolands, internet updates as more synths are added and 2 independent external inputs that can be mapped to any control.
