Hi -- Chances are that the solder joints on your DW-6000 MIDI jack  
have broken. Taking the cover off teh top of the DW-6000 is a cinch  
(small black screws on the bottom). The whole top can be carefully  
lifted back, and you will see the board that has all the jacks. I'd  
suggest taking a quick photo (for future reference) and then removing  
the board, unplugging it from the main board, or at least getting  
enough access to it to inspect the solder joints and repair. Also  
check for loose jumpers -- it could be just that. -pc
