I'm sure that many of you are very familiar with Pallium's patchset downloads for the DW-8000... http://www.pallium.com/bryan/dwpatches.php If not, check it out and enjoy some of the unique sounds this instrument can make. There is a patchblock there named "Preload Side B" which is especially good. The patchblock of "Yes" sounds were pretty useful also. I'm on my 3rd DW-8000 in so many years... I'm not sure I'll keep it because those clackity keys always bugged me too much... Has anyone tried to dampen the keyboard action? Is there a Yamaha replacement keyboard that will work?
