poly 61 no sound

poly 61 no sound

hi all!!!!

i got this poly 61 but no soud. all LED display normaly but don't know 
why there is no sound. what are most known problems for this model?

Hi, proably the backup battery is low and the RAM has lost all sound 
data. You\ufffdll need to re-load them by using the Factory-Patch-Tape.

where can i find factory-patch-tape? if this is problem....

DSS1 - Need a slider

Hi,

I need a new Data Entry slider for a DSS1. I think it should be the
same part as the data entry or volume slider for a DW8000.

Any ideas where I can get one from?
Are they difficult to replace?

the orginal unit was shipped with a cassette tape and loaded via a player 

but the dw8000 is fully programmable and you can create your own sound. first make one of your individual sound and see if that fixes the problem if not you have an electronic problem that might need to be trouble shot. 

if you do not know how to program you will need a manual it has been too long since i have to change a sound

Another really simple possibility is this.
There is a switch on the back that enables the tape
i/o.
I forget how it's labeled and I'm not around my Poly61
right now.
Make sure the switch is not going to tape.
