Keyboard Failure

Keyboard Failure

2008-12-15 by fretnoize

Hi, I'm new. My DW8000's keyboard isn't working. It responds to midi
fine though. Everything seems functional otherwise. It's my
understanding that it doesn't have a local on or off setting that I
could possibly be missing. Opening things up is never fun, just
wondering if there's anything I'm missing before I dive inside of it
and look for a loose connection or what not. I'll look for the obvious
loose connection, anything else I should look for while in there?
Hmm... I should probably plan on replacing the battery too while in there.

It went through a cross country shipment and when I got around to
trying it out months later it was in this condition, so I'm thinking
it's just a loose connection or something.

try parameter number 36 as you may have the angelcity mod. 36 is turbo
mode and if it is set to "4", that is local off. good luck bro.
