Angel City Turbo Mod

2003-03-05 by greg montalbano

Hi--
I'm currently servicing a DW-8000 (which has obviously seen combat; has
been dropped, is missing several pieces from the case, has spent time
sitting in water, and has one of the display boards cracked in half, and it
STILL WORKS -- one seriously tough synth).

I was surprised to find the Angel City Turbo board installed; after
downloading the user manual from the Files section (thanks, Rob), I've
managed to get things working.

My question: is there anybody onlist who has this mod, and has the
original Angel City program banks? I would like to continue putting this
thing through its paces, and the original patches -- particularly Volume 9
(their "tutorial" bank) -- would be a great help.

Thanks.

Contact Musitronics in Germany directly, get their contact info from this
web page:

You can email them in English, no need to know German.

Good luck!

The web site says : "upgrade for EX/DW-8000" so, yes, it should work.
