Hello Paul..

I've been using your ".ACVuves settup in my UT14 printer ithout difficulty.

However, I CANNOT seem to get your ".ICC" ptofiles for this printer to show up in PS when I go to print..They DO SHOW as INSTALLED onmy Vista system along with all of my Color ICC's, but do NOT show up as available when I wish to apply one of these prior to printing. (these are all downloaded from your zip folder in your 2008 UT 14 intro and tutorial)

I'm using no color management, and .ICM on my settup....Pls I could use some advice here.

This is driving me NUTS!

THX in advance!

Eddie

QTR allows better control of the dmax. With the Epson driver we're stuck with what Epson decided was the optimum -- for its papers.

Most of the ICCs in the UT14 profiles zip file have the Lab A & B information in them. (The Premier Art Smooth BW does not, for some unknown reason.) With matte papers the ICCs can be used in soft proofing in Photoshop.

(View > Proof Setup > Custom. In the Device to Simulate load the UT14 ICC. I use Perceptual, black point compensation there.)

The ICCs for glossy papers don't work well in soft proofing.

Hope this is of some help.
