Paul, The lightroom Curves are similar to that in Camera Raw. Some of the differences are that you can save the Curve in RAW and you save or create a preset in LR3. I am not sure you will have the tools and data to create in the same method that you use. I look forward seeing what you come up with in the GT workshop. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of having to learn more software, but LR appears to be very popular, and LR3 is getting a lot of buzz about significantly better performance.
