Digital BW, The Print

Now that I've got the system installed (1270 w/ VM's) and tried a 
thing or two some of the comments make more sense.  Some questions to 
follow undoubtedly.

Printed the 21stepnew test wedge with vmp27_w11.acv curve and have 
some tonal jump ~56 and ~85.  No fault of the inks, just my new 
learning curve of curves ;-)

????  When people are editing/modifying these are they doing them in 
the individual RGB channels or on the master RGB?  Maybe I should 
just ask where people first attempt adjustments. ????

My first image experience some posterizing in an area that runs 
through the tonal range quickly (in a short amount of space) but that 
is likely due to the way I solved it for printing on the 3000.  Will 
give it a re-working with the additional inks in mind.
