Thanks. I'm certainly no stranger to spam, receiving a good 250 per day (most filtered out). But the tactics never cease to amaze me - like how they would know I was associated with this forum. I guess if I didn't have a life, I might be able to do it as well. It's got to be way easier than state of the art B&W printing since there's a lot more of them than us. Oh well. Best, Tom It's not at all difficult to insert a real or bogus e-mail addy as the sending addy in an e-mail in place of your own. Some brain dead people do it for perverted fun and others for nefarious purposes. _____ From: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com <mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint%40yahoogroups.com> [mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com <mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint%40yahoogroups.com> ] On Behalf Of James Irelan Sent: Thursday, June 24, 2010 04:17 PM To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com <mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint%40yahoogroups.com> Subject: Re: [Digital BW] Spam spam spam This has been going on for some time. The spammers have some way of applying someone's name to their crap, even my own name- I get spam mail supposedly from myself- or from someone I've written to. Just no end to the ways sleezebags can ruin things. Does the forum administrator or anyone else have any idea what's going on? It looks like twelch2113 is involved. A bit unnerving to have this kind of infiltration, especially with my name on it!
